New Castle County Department of Public Safety

I find my greatest benefit of membership is the network of specialists to whom I reach out for my agency's challenges. Friendships, camaraderie, unlimited knowledge base and all without pretense, competitiveness or the caste system.

Chief Patty Dukes, Honolulu, HI

To me the biggest benefit to being a member of the IAEMSC is the relationships, and caliber of the membership base. The saying goes “it’s lonely at the top”, but as a member of the association you won’t have to feel like you are by yourself. I have been able to interact with so many other EMS Chief Executives, with such diverse backgrounds, that I don’t think can be found anywhere else.

David H. Porter, Abbeville County Emergency Services

By virtue of joining the IAEMSC, the members of the association have shown they are not willing to sit back and take a “wait and see” attitude when it comes to the future direction of EMS. The IAEMSC and its members are progressive leaders who are interested in determining our own future. Joining the association provides networking opportunities with like-mined EMS professionals from across the country and from a variety of service delivery models.
