Chief Paul Brennan (MA) || President
Paul has been in Emergency Medical services for 32 years. During this time he has worked in volunteer, private, urban Fire Department and Hospital based EMS systems as a provider, educator and administrator.
Since 1994, he has been the Director of Lawrence General Hospital’s Advanced Life Support service which provides regional advanced life support services to 4 communities as well as ALS/BLS 911 response to the City of Lawrence Massachusetts.
He is a long time board member of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s Medical Services Committee, State Emergency Medical Care Advisory Council (EMCAB), President of the Massachusetts Association of Hospital Operated Paramedic Systems, member of the Massachusetts State Trauma Committee and Hospital representative in the Region 3 Massachusetts health and medical care Coalition (HMCC).
Paul is the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for Lawrence General Hospital and has worked on numerous emergency management/preparedness initiatives as well as ASPR grant projects for EMS and Hospital readiness. He serves as an evaluator for the Harvard School of Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Exercise Program and has provided private consulting for hospitals in emergency management and all hazards planning.
